What is OfficeArrow?

OfficeArrow™ is the world’s first online collaborative community developed specifically for Office Professionals, by Office Professionals. With OfficeArrow you can do your job better, faster and with more satisfaction by tapping into a group of trusted friends and business associates – some you already know; others you’ll get to know as you interact with them.

OfficeArrow members are just like you. They are executive assistants, office managers, administrative assistants, small business executives and other office professionals who know what it’s like to singlehandedly hold together an office, get things done that no one else can figure out, be the calm within the storm, and fix the copier or set up email for the new VP who still can’t find the supply closet. Whether down the block or across the globe, we are here to help – to answer questions, offer advice or provide proven tools, tips and tricks to solve unique (even mundane) problems you face every day at work.

Who is OfficeArrow?

We are executive assistants, business consultants, entrepreneurs, small business owners, administrative assistants - office professionals just like you who have struggled to get answers to our everyday questions. We’ve worked in law firms, ad agencies, wealth management firms, telecom companies, banks, high tech firms, divisions of multinational companies and more. We have faced the challenges of having to “do it all” with little or no help. For more information, check out the OfficeArrow Team.

Why We Started OfficeArrow

We created OfficeArrow for you, the office professional, to connect with your peers who understand the challenges you face every day. These are the people you can trust to get the answers and solutions you need to do your job better and more efficiently. We are looking to build the world’s largest online collaborative business community for office professionals, to empower you to connect, communicate and collaborate with others who share your interests and challenges, peers who you can trust, call on, and help.

Every day, you are asked to be a mind reader - an expert in everything. As the executive assistant to a senior manager or C-level executive, you are asked to arrange travel to cities large and small, domestic and foreign. You have to prepare documents or presentations to be printed and delivered on time for a critical meeting. Someone needs to arrange a telephone or web conference, so you have to become the expert in finding a system that works and making sure everyone is trained. As the company office manager, you buy computers one day and upgrade or replace the phone system the next. Everyone relies on you to make sure there is enough office furniture to fit your company’s expansion plans, but to not break the budget in doing so.

We understand the challenges you face. We’ve been there! We have been the administrative “miracle worker” in the office. We have launched businesses from the ground up (including this one!). We have lived through incredible growth, change, relocation and more. All along the way, we have been helped by our network - peers who been there, done that and want to help. Now, we want to give back, by building a platform and community where we can share and benefit from each other’s experiences.

We have seen the power of collaboration. We encourage you to use OfficeArrow and experience it for yourself. We believe that by tapping into the “wisdom of the crowd” you will become more productive and efficient, save time and money, and get more satisfaction out of your work (and ultimately, your life!). That’s why we encourage you to join and start participating – the more people that join OfficeArrow the better – and the more you participate, the more you will get out of it.

Do You Have Suggestions for Us?

Creating and managing a community where office professionals can collaborate is a work in process. And as we said above, we believe in collaboration too! We are always working to provide the features that will make OfficeArrow suit your needs. Got an idea for a new topic? Know a great writer that would help the community? Let us know. Your feedback will help us grow and provide more value to you, because after all, you are the reason we started this site.
