Online scheduling made easy!

Acuity scheduling is a very cool online appointment scheduling system. I actually found it because I was scheduling an appointment with a very busy professional and she directed me to her website. From there, I selected a date on the calendar and the system showed me what times she had available. I was able to select one that worked for me and then, a minute later, I got an email confirmation! I was so intrigued; I went straight to the Acuity website to investigate. You can integrate the software into your website (just like the professional I was working with) and completely customize the features so it can handle cancellations, rescheduling and send out reminder emails. You set your availability and the user can select the day and time that works best for them. This can be used to manage several different staff members or locations using multiple calendars. Now, people can schedule appointments 24 hours a day! This system totally decreases time spent on the phone scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments. Love it!!

Can you tell a story in one sentence? Yes!

Warning: This website is very addictive!

Here's the challenge: tell a story in just one sentence. Think that sounds impossible? You'll be surprised. In just a few words, people really create some fascinating stories, full of nuance and tone - some really get your mind spinning! Before you click through to onesentence.org, be sure you have some time to kill.

Destroy the internet

Have you ever just wanted to see a swarm of wasps destroy a webpage?? You know you have: when you spend 10 minutes filling out a form only to be given an error screen and returned back to an empty form. You know you've imagined watching that stupid webpage slowly burn to ashes. Well, now you can make it happen! With Net Disaster, you can watch a puppy poop all over that irritating page! Or, invite a not-so-friendly gang of dinosaurs to crash on in. Take a chainsaw to it, watch a flood demolish it, or even spill a cup of coffee on it. The destruction method is your choice! Choose the webpage and how you want to watch it go down. Then sit back, relax and enjoy the sweet satisfaction of cold vengeance.

Just Goo It!

In an effort to help people clear out their overflowing email inboxes, Gootodo founder, Mark Hurst, developed this new application. In his own words:

"Gootodo interfaces with any email inbox, anywhere, taking action items out of the inbox and placing them on a to-do list, where they belong. All it requires is for the user to click the "Forward" button-as in, forward this email to my to-do list-and then delete the message from the inbox. What's more, the user can forward an email to a particular day's to-do list-today, or any day in the future-by sending the email to the appropriate address."

I think it sounds pretty darn cool, and I may try it out. If so, I'll definitely share my thoughts with you. It currently costs $3 a month, but new users can try it free with a 10 to-do limit per day for 30 days.
