Productivity Tip: Track phone conversations using Outlook Journal

I found a great article about using Outlook to make and organize notes from phone calls. I've never even known that Outlook has a "Journal" feature. It's within the "Call" menu in Contacts. You can click on the link for a step-by-step tutorial.

Fight Back Against Telemarketers

Ok, we all hate them. They're complete time wasters. So, the next time you miss a call and you're looking at the number on your Caller ID wondering if it's a real person you missed or a telemarketer, check out Caller Complaints. This website allows you to search phone numbers to find out if they belong to telemarketers. It's a user maintained site so be sure to help others by sharing the numbers of known offenders.

Rotate Your Homepage for Free - No Software to Install

Sick of looking at the same boring Homepage when you open your Internet Browser? WhatPage is a free service that allows you to input up to 100 pages to use as your Homepage, then rotates them every time you log on. You even control the order of rotation and can change it at any time. Personally, I use iGoogle, which allows you to customize your homepage with RSS feeds from around the web and other cool widgets. Either of these options are great alternatives to staring at the same old, same old every time you hit "Home".

Ideas Worth Spreading

TED is a website that features video seminars from some of the world's greatest and most inspirational thinkers. You can watch free video speeches given by famous authors, entrepreneurs, sports heroes, political figures, and much more. Check it out when you have some downtime and want a little mental stimulation.

Lost Your Cell Phone? No Worries!

Phone My Phone lets you enter your cell phone number and it rings you up instantly. No more frustrating searches for that missing phone! You can even schedule calls for the future which conveniently allows you to set up an "emergency" phone call to get you out of a boring meeting or social situation. Sure, it's wrong. But if you've ever desperately wished for a perfectly timed phone call to pull you away from a miserable date, you know how brilliant this service truly is.
