How can I write up Payment Terms and Conditions or maybe find a format? I want to make sure I get paid.

Generally, your payment terms and conditions are stated on your invoice, i.e. net 30. You would also want them listed on any quotes given, price lists, and on your website.

I did find a good template on the web for terms and conditions, which also include payment terms. You can get some good terminology from that.

Another thing you may consider would be to offer a discount if payment is received early. A lot of business owners appreciate this. For instance 1% 10 Net 30. If they pay within 10 days they get a 1% discount, if not, payment is due in 30 days. You can also add interest if payment isn't received by the 30 days.
