Ready New York

Safety is everybody’s business and it is everybody’s job.

Ready New York is New York City’s educational campaign to encourage New York City residents to prepare for emergencies. Ready New York takes an all-hazards approach to preparing based on three guiding principles: knowing the hazards in New York City, making a household disaster plan, and stocking emergency supplies.

Join us for this extremely important program as we welcome a representative from Ready New York who will offer us tips and information designed to help New Yorkers prepare for all types of emergencies.


COSTS: $15.00

Please note that due to security concerns, you must RSVP by 5:00PM on Tuesday, March 17. If you do not RSVP, you will not be allowed into the building. Allow 15 minutes to clear security, as photo ID passes are required.

Wow! What a great topic for a chapter meeting! Admins play a big part in preparing companies for disasters, so your focus on this topic is right on.

I will be doing two sessions at the IAAP International Convention in July. I hope to see some of the NY IAAP chapter members and fellow OA members there!
