I am in charge of finding a CRM solution for my small office. I currently am having demos tailored to fit my companies needs by companies such as Goldmine & Sales Logix. Basically, it is my job to get together a working database of all our customers, that every one in the office can access, make notes in and track customer srevice, etc. Does anybody utilize either of these companies I have demos with or does anyone else have a different customer service software company they love? There are just so many choices that I am having a hard time narrowing it down.

I've used CRM software by Sage but wasn't a huge fan. I haven't used Salesforce but based on demos and feedback from friends it seems a little more user friendly to me. I am currently using Zoho CRM which oddly enough was suggested by the Salesforce rep. It's free for up to 5 users and is similar to Salesforce. Google it. It may be what you're looking for.

Salesforce has been in use by our mktg/sales dept. for 5 years and it's been easy for me to learn to use and administer. Our CS dept. is running open source Sugar & it's a headache, partly because the commercial version doesn't include a Reports module, which is one of the Salesforce features that's easy to use.
