Unable to convert power point slide to word
Can anyone tell me how to convert a power point slide to word? I have tried to google this and couldn't find a way. I am unable to just copy and paste as the slide seems to be surrounded by dots. I have tried to copy and paste to excel and then copy and paste to word, then convert table to text, however, the dots seem to carry over?

Is it the gridlines you can see (causing the dots)? If so, you can turn those off in Powerpoint before you copy and paste. I don't know what version of MS Office you have, but in 2007, the option appears under the "View" tab.

If that doesn't work, rather than Google it, Powerpoint has a "Help" link, where you can ask the question and it'll give you a selection of potential answers and instructions. Or go to office.microsoft.com

I hope one of these helps!
Good luck. Fran

Re: Unable to convert power point slide to word
Have you looked at the slide in Print Preview to see if these dots exist there? Most of PowerPoint content is contained in Text boxes, and when you paste them into Word, they'll be pasted as text boxes. If these "dots" show up in Print Preview, odds are, they are part of the border for the text box. If you right click on the box and choose "Format text box" or whatever it calls that particular box, you can set the Line to "No Line" under the Color drop down box.
