Re: On-Line registration page
To collect information online with FrontPage, you will be using the form tools. The key is what you want to do with the input. Your options include:
* Sending results in an email message * Saving to an existing database * Saving to a text file * Other 3rd party options such as a shopping cart autoresponder or a newsletter sign-up To create a form page under FrontPage: 1. File > New. 2. Choose New Page and then More page templates... 3. Try out some of the options including Confirmation Form, User Registration, or Form Page Wizard. Experiment with these choices to get a better feeling about form setup, etc. Here are some Microsoft resources to help you get started with forms: About creating forms in FrontPage 2003: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/fr...CH063547581033 Collect and store form data entered by site visitors: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/fr...617231033.aspx You will find other FrontPage links from these pages. Unfortunately, Microsoft doesn't provide free FrontPage templates unlike what you can find for PowerPoint, Word, etc. You can find tons of paid templates online but these are usually setup for an entire website layout and look. If you are using the form for sign-up for a newsletter service or to generate an autoresponder then you can get the form code from these providers. In this case, choosing the Submit button will send the data to be stored by the service. Hope this helps you get started with forms.
