Desk Heater?
Hi there -

I sit at a window corner desk, and it gets pretty cold. Can't turn the temp up on the thermostat, because the rest of the assistants down the hall will then melt. :-) I already have a little heater that heats well, but I'm looking for a heater that's a lot quieter. My heater drowns everything out (which is sometimes nice), however, I never hear anything anyone is saying (including by boss - not the best). Any recommendations out there??

Re: Desk Heater?
I used to use a space heater at my last job. We had the same trouble; if you turned up the thermostat, others would find the heat unbearable. I used this heater. It was quiet and allowed me to adjust the temperature at different times during the day when the sun got hotter. Hope this helps.

Re: Desk Heater?
I sit right in front of the door. So when anyone comes in or out or just pokes their head through, I get a nice wave of cold air. Plus our CEO likes it when the temp is in the 60s. I have this heater and it works really well under my desk to warm up my area.

Re: Desk Heater?
I only wish I needed a heater. I am on the same thermostat as my boss, who keeps it on 80 degrees all year round! It's November and I have a fan in my office. The air has been so dry, I'm afraid I may start getting bloody noses!
