Laminating ID Badges
I have laminated many things but laminating ID badges for an upcoming conference is presenting itself to be difficult. I got some laminating sheets but they weren't thick enough and they didn't say sealed for very long. We have a GBC Heat Seal machine and I ordered the GBC ID badges. I am thinking of trying the office depot brand that is 5 mil instead of 4 mil. Has anyone else had issues with uncooperating pieces of plastic?

Re: Laminating ID Badges
Hello,
Your laminator may not be heated up enough if the plastic is not sticking together. I let our laminator heat up for 10-15 minutes before I send the badges through. If the badges don't stick the first time, give the laminator a little more heating up time and just send them through again. I hope this helps. |
