    Title: Contracts

    Hi there,

Great question! My friend and colleague Danielle Keister has a library of helpful forms available at her website:

    https://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/gb.php...c=ib&aff=32196

I'm sure you'll find what you need there. You can find more FR*EE tips on setting up a profitable, successful Virtual Assistant business at Index of / (Executive Assistant to Virtual Assistant!)

Please let me know if you need anything else!

    Warm regards,

    Sydni Craig-Hart

Collette Schultz, the Software Savvy Sub and owner of Virtual Dream Office Services is proud to announce a new addition to the list of popular Virtual Assistant Forums discussion groups, the “ VA Subcontractor’s Road to Success”. This group is intended for virtual assistants who are interested in experiencing what it is like to work virtually prior to getting their own VA business off the ground. Participants can ask questions about finding work as a VA subcontractor, how to set up a home office, training programs and reading resources, finding the perfect mentor, setting policies and hours, as well as what software is needed to operate a virtual assistance business. Each month will forus on a different topic of discussion. Join us as we kick off June 2009 to discuss The Mind Set of a Subcontractor. Group conversation will focus on:
    1. Why is dedication so crucial to a subcontractor’s success?
    2. What does it mean to have the spirit of an entrepreneur? Why is that spirit important?
    3. What boundaries should you consider setting as a subcontractor and why?
    4. What defines you as a subcontractor?
    5. What personality types are more likely to succeed in the VA industry?

To participate in the discussion group, you must be a registered member of Virtual Assistant Forums and abide by the community rules. Please create an account and read the members guidelines then go to Virtual Assistant Forums - Social Groups . I am not a VA either, but am very interested in the same questions KATWINTER7 posted, as well as what you might suggest is the most economical way to replace the benefits you lose working for a corporation (healthcare, etc.). I love the idea of being to work from anywhere.

Imagine this is what next Monday looks like for you:

You wake up refreshed and ready to start the day. You grab breakfast, a cup of coffee or tea and head into your home office to sit down and review your scheduled appointments. You smile because you see that you are scheduled to talk to your two favorite clients this morning, who both happily pay your top fees and ONLY ask you to work on projects that you love.

You’re happily surprised when you check your email because there is a new business inquiry waiting for you. This person has obviously done their homework on you, sounds strikingly like your ideal client profile and wants to start working with you immediately. So, you pick up the phone and contact them to schedule an introductory consultation…

How would that feel? What would your life look like if this was the reality of your business?

Let me just ask you straight out:

    • Has a client ever asked you to take on a task that required more technological know-how than you presently have?
    • Have you ever found yourself saying, “There’s got to be a better way to get this done!” when dealing with a client’s request?
    • And is there some part of you that wishes you had a team of IT professionals to help you when you’ve got a question or get in a jam?

If there is one thing sure to hold you back from enjoying an efficient, profitable and truly successful Virtual Assistant business, it’s not knowing the ins and outs of today’s latest virtual technology.
