We are the Ottawa Chapter of IAAP in Ottawa, Canada. We have monthly meetings with educational speakers and networking opportunities. IAAP is a great place to grow as a professional, providing an environment to practice skills that you may need in your workplace, from minute taking to public speaking or any number of things that you could try your hand at.     Title: Joining a Professional Association: Is it beneficial?

    As a member of IAAP (Book Cliff Chapter)I can't say enough about all the ways the IAAP group has helped me move up in my career. The networking is great and I have learned so many skills from the other members. I can't take the time or space on the blog to list the numerous benefits of joining this or any other professional organization.
