Calling All Administrative Professionals!
Are you looking for a tool to stay on the cutting edge of your profession? The International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) can help. The SE CT Shoreline Chapter – IAAP meets at 6:30 p.m. bi-monthly on the 2nd Wednesday of the month in Council Chambers at the City of . Membership is not required to attend meetings.
Meet and network with other administrative professionals from the area, learn more about IAAP, its purpose, and the benefits of membership for you and your employer. Did you know you can become certified as a Professional Secretary and/or an Administrative Professional? Did you know you can become certified as a Microsoft Office Specialist in specific applications? These are just a few of the topics discussed during chapter meetings.
The next meeting of the SE CT Shoreline Chapter is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., May 13, 2009 in Council Chambers at the City of Groton Municipal Building.

IAAP Groton / Norwich
Orginally I was trying to start a chapter of IAAP in Norwich which has been a difficult task. Interest was not there. So in talking with the Groton Chapter we thought we might try to join forces to help them due to the fact the attendance at their meetings are low so we wanted to give it a fresh start and we have discussed flip flopping the meetings between Norwich and Groton. Anyone interested in attending a meeting please contact me we would love to have you.
