contacting prospective employer
I have a question about a job posting that many have applied for. Last week I was able to find out who the hiring manager is. I called him and emailed him last week. He said I was being considered. That was last week. When and what should I say that will get him thinking about me more. should I contact him today or wait till the end of the week?

Re: contacting prospective employer
Hi cheveres! This is a great question and one I've always struggled with. It always seems that time moves so much slower when you are waiting to hear back from a prospective employer. I would wait until the middle of the week and email him to follow up and get insight into his timing for scheduling interviews.

I hope this helps. I am by no means an expert, but only speaking from experience.
