Calendar
I am looking for a daily and hourly task calendar in order to write in it and show my boss what I do all day at work. Also I am searching for information on the correct hiring procedure to use when hiring part-time and on-call employees'; so, if they do not get enough hours they cannot go after our company for UE benefits.
I am a recent graduate and am working as an Administrator to learn the new company (company is less than two years old and has boomed!)...then I will become the HR Manager however, I am doing most of the HR items now and feel overwhelmed sometimes...due to starting most of the HR items from scratch. A positive note; I love your website; it has already helped me in my job position! However, I do wish the templates were in A, B, C order; this would enable people to find the item they are doing a specific search for...instead of having to go through all the many template pages until its located.

Thanks for your help,

Ellen Clason,

Re: Calendar
I wrote a post on keeping a time log last year. In it, I have linked a copy of the excel spreadsheet I use to track my time. I hope you'll find it useful.

As for the part-time/on-call issue, a lot is going to depend on your local employment laws. That should be your first place to start. You'll want to make sure that any policies that you implement are well within the law. Once you know what you're allowed to do, you can start crafting a company policy to deal with the issue and then communicate it to your employees.
