I'm looking for some creative ways to make a packet for our director when she leaves for a business trip. It would contain her itinerary, agenda, conference program and other documents that pertain to her trip.

I would usually use a folder with pockets for all the documents for my boss's trip. If it was a trip with an extensive itinerary, I'd add tabs for each destination to make things easier. I'd put a simplified comprehensive itinerary in the front, and then the detailed information for each destination under it's own tab. The pocketed folders are fairly flat, so they aren't bulky like a 3 ring binder, but protect everything better than a simple file folder. Additionally, the pockets are good to hold things that they need easy access to, like plane tickets and whatnot.
