This is an interesting article - but to be honest I have come to an agreement with my manager that he doesn't touch his calendar unless it is a personal appointment. He refers anyone who wants time with him to me. My manager does not even see his calender invites now the emails come directly to me.

I have found over the number of years I have been working with calanders with back to back meetings it is easier and less confusing if only one person controls the diary. In saying that we discuss his diary on a daily basis and go thru the next couple of weeks every Friday.
