Re: Executive Assistant
Hi Gabby,

You may want to take a look at our Executive Assistant Resume for an idea of what to include in your resume. We also have a great article on How to Be a Good EA and a very extensive E-book for EA's entitled, The Effective Executive Assistant. All of those resources are free since you are already a member of OfficeArrow.

Hope it helps!

Re: Executive Assistant
Hi, Gabby.

You may also want to look at contacting your local IAAP (International Assoc. of Admin Professionals)chapter to determine if you can find a member/mentor that is currently an EA working in the type of firm you are hoping to join.

Best of luck to you in your search.

Re: Executive Assistant
Hi Gabby,
Keep in mind that any of us who have held the position of EA, began our career as a receptionist, administrative assistant, and in my case a secretary. It is important that your resume shows progression, growth and added responsibility during your employment. Focus on your accomplishments. Try to avoid writing a "task oriented" resume.
