I am really excited to try this. I've always been a huge fan of creating 'mind maps' when working on large projects. This sounds very similar and I like the idea of doing it for a regular task. It will really help me break down the steps and see where I'm doing things inefficiently. I'll be trying it soon and I'll let you know what I learn.

I agree with Chrissy, this can be incredibly helpful. I used to do flowcharts when I took programming classes in college, but never thought about using them on basic day-to-day tasks. But the reason for using them is the same, to see the process laid out to find where there are problems and look for ways to improve the flow.
