How do become a member of IAAP and APC. I live in Nigeria.

Visit the IAAP website at International Association of Administrative Professionals. It's a worldwide organization and can provide many valuable resources for you. You can become a 'member at large' or start a chapter in your area! There are yearly dues that include the great magazine publication, Office Pro. They have several educational and professional development conferences including the International Convention in Minneapolis - I'll be doing two sessions there this year. There is information on the website about IAAP educational conferences. You can also find out the nearest chapter to you there in Nigeria.

APC is not a member based organization. They have a yearly conference in Canada and also in the US. This year it's in Orlando. I've been a presenter at APC several times - it's a great conference as well. They have a monthly newsletter ASAP (Professional Development Resource for Administrative Professionals - ASAP) that you can register for at no cost.
