Agreement form for a 1099
Hi,
I am a new manager and I am trying to develop a form or an agreement for my boss that he wants to hire someone outside of the company to do some work but only for "1099". I am not too sure on how to put such form together. If someone has already developed this type of form and has already posted it to this website, please direct me to it. I would greatly appreciate it.
Melissa

Re: Agreement form for a 1099
Hi Melissa,
It should be a legal document, such as a Consulting Agreement that outlines the terms, payment schedule, tasks that are to be performed, who the individual will report to, etc. Both parties need to sign and date. Additionally, the individual should sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement protecting company proprietary information.

Does your company have a legal department or use outside council?
