I am presently a personal assistant and starting to apply for Executive Assistant posts. I get stuck on application questions can anyone help me.

The successful candidate will understand the importance of how and why a good EA can make a difference to the person they are suppoting.

Please explain why we should consider you for the role?

The role is to an Executive Assitant to work for a Sports Advertising Rights Company for an Executive who travels to his offices in Europe. As this is a job on a job search website there is no details of the company.

You should welcome this type of open-ended question. It is your opportunity to really shine. Play up your strengths and tell them why you're the one they need. Plan what you will say on your application. It is difficult to get just the right message into two to three sentences but work on it and let someone else read it for clarity and spelling etc. and have your message ready next time. One thing that may be useful in your rise to EA is to take your time and always proof what you write; mistakes are one tool employers can use to eliminate candidates.
