Meeting Requests - Notes Section
Hi all. I'm a newbie! This site is SO INFORMATIVE!! Glad I found it. Need some one liners (literally). I'm an E.A., so of course, I schedule meetings. I get tired of using the same old "Per ____'s request, please plan to attend this meeting. Contact me if you cannot attend." (or at least something to that effect)Does anyone have other one-liners that you use? I'll take all types; casual, funny, formal, etc.. Just looking for new lines to use!!

Thanks all!

Re: Meeting Requests - Notes Section
It is like you are reading my mind! Whenever I am planning a meeting, I feel like I am constantly repeating the same line. I usually use "<Insert Name> would like to meet with you on <Insert Date and Time>. Please contact me as soon as possible if you have any conflicts." Even though the meeting request already contains the subject of the meeting and the date and time, I also like to put it in my message. We have some older staff that are not too comfortable using an electronic calendar. Sometimes they do not notice the date and time listed at the top.

I'm the Executive Assistant to the President/CEO, and sometime when he calls a meeting, the time is not flexible. When that is the case, I also state that in my messag with a "This meeting is mandatory. Please make any necessary arrangements to attend."
