Re: Planning an All-Inclusive Holiday Party
Thoughts on how to handle gift giving. We always do a charitable thing as a group but some folks want to do a secret santa thing too. Problem is that we have folks that don't feel they can afford to participate - you don't want to leave anyone out but then don't want them to feel obligated either.

Re: Planning an All-Inclusive Holiday Party
We hold our party in early to mid-January -- it's called a Year End Party. We theme it according to the venue. For example, we have held a 1920's themed party at a historic hotel in our area. Everyone was encouraged to dress in the style of the day. It's a lot of fun and a great way to celebrate the new year. This year our event is at an upscale hotel and their ballroom is done in rich colors (gold, red, teal, etc.) so we decided to go with a Moroccan theme. You can dress the part if you'd like, but most probably won't. We will have themed cocktails and foods along with the traditional meal & drinks. There will be performers and themed decor as well.
