Ladies,

my boss is planning to have a 2 day business meeting involving all his direct reports, and all managers that he closely works with. Now he asked me to attend the 2 days in full. Last time we had this, the only thing he asked me was to catch all actions, but are there any other aspect(s) of our role that is requested/expected during meetings of this types (apart from the fact ensuring that everything runs smoothly)?

Do you have to assist in the planning (ie. reserve meeting space, audio/visual equipment, catering, copying materials, meeting setup)?

Also, do you have to send email notices/reminders and get confirmations of attendees? If not, this sounds you will be maintaining a low profile during the two day sessions. So I would take great notes!!!!
