Tips on planning AGMs

I've planned events before, including strategic meetings for boards but have never organised annual general meetings for shareholders. Does anyone have any tips or links to articles to assist in planning for an event like this?

Hi Karen,
Details, details, details! From selecting the venue, to making sure the microphone is on (I missed this at a shareholders meeting and it caused a lot of embarrassment for my boss, the Chairman and CEO), annual shareholders meetings require coordination with several departments of the company. I worked closely with Investor Relations, CFO, and the General Council. Good luck!
