Involved in a project with an international company, gathering an writing innovative ideas for communications amongst peers we deal with internationally. WOuld love to hear ideas of how others do this. ie: I keep a folder on-line in which I try to maintain a "greeting" for each country I deal with...a simple "hello", thank you, and goodbye word to hopefully transmit a "warmer" feeling in the seeminly cold worl of emails.
I would be very interested in other ideas you might have to accomplish this international collaboration(things you may have tried, or fresh ideas). Would like to see how other assistants are handling this now everyday mode of communication at the office! Thanks much for anything anyone has to offer! Greta

Unfortunately, I received no replies to my query. However, I am excited to report that the team I formed on this subject won first place in the project, a huge accomplishment! We competed against hundreds of our talented and experienced peers, all of whom support Executives within our international corporation! Great way to end 2008!
