Simple office memos
Hi..I'm simply trying to find out the correct spacing that I would use when writing an inter-office memo for a class that I am taking. I want to make sure I am doing it correctly. I know it is simple but I want to know that the set up is corrcet.

Re: Simple office memos
Hi Jessbum,

When I'm not speaking to EAs and AAs, I teach part time at in the Business Dept of our local college. I teach an Office Procedures class and below is the format I have my students use for simple office memos. Hope it helps.

Of course, there are a variety of templates on Word. For my class, however, I just have them use this simple format.

At the top left of the page type the word: MEMO

Space 3 single spaces
Date:
Space 3 single spaces
To:
Space 3 single spaces
From:
Space 3 single spaces
RE: (or they can type Subject
Type another 3 single spaces.

In block format, type the content of the memo.

No signature line is required for simple memos.

If you would like me to forward you a sample, just let me know via email.

I happened to come across this question and answer. I know it is dated way back to May, but could I possibly get an example of this technique?

Thank you
