Discussing a Program
Hi! I have put together a recognition program for our company. I am emailing the program to the General Manager of our company. There is a meeting scheduled to discuss this with him and I was asked to highlight the program. I am not sure how to highlight a program. How much information do I include since he is going to read the program before we meet?
Any help you could give to me would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

I recommend a one page PowerPoint sheet or if you're more comfortable with a Word doc, then do an outline listing the 4 or 5 big rocks of your recognition program with very brief detailed sub-points. List the qualifications for recognition, who can nominate the employee, how often will the recognition awards or certificates will be distributed, whose budget and how much will be alloted for the awards/certificates, and where will this recognition take place: staff meeting? quarterly meeting? kudos by email to all employees? This outline or one page ppt should be enough to give him the gist of your program. Good luck - A.
