Does anyone have a suggestion on what I can give my mentor as a thank you gift? She has been there for me through 7 months of upward mobility classes and coached and encouraged me so that I could get up and speak in front of our executives. I would really like to find the perfect gift to show my appreciation.

A great thank you gift, gender appropriate, would be a gift certificate at a spa for some relaxation. Everyone can use some time aways for home/office for some papering.

Might I suggest seeing as she was your mentor and you want to look up to her maybe a personal touch like a little decorative mirror from TJ Max with a candle and box of nice matches and put a little home made card that says something to the effect you sparked my interest and I look up to you and thank you for being my mentor. The mirror is like a symbol to you looking up to her, the candle is the light she provided you to guide you, and the matches are the spark. It might sound corney but it will be really touching. Good luck wish you well. Please inform all of us what you did as a thank you gift. Don't leave us in the dark.
