Hi there,

What about the possibility of having "Book Nook" in the Break Room where good, relevant books can be reviewed/suggested.

There are lots of good ones, and many of the titles in this genre geared for Admins don't necessarily make the front table at Barnes and Noble, but are certaintly worthy reads and provide lots of valuable information. I've read many and have many in my home library.(Speaking as a biased author of course!!)

Perhaps Chrissy can select one or two now and then, or have readers post suggestions they've read that have helped them on the job. This wouldn't be a place to purchase, only "spotlight" books that fit the mission of OfficeArrow.com.

Great idea, Lisa! We have this on the long-range plans and can certainly move it up on the priority list. Anyone else care to chime in -- or volunteer to read and post a review? We could make it happen much sooner.

I would love to have a section like that, you could also include good seminars/webinars available for future training purposes.

This is coming! I promise! We have a member who is very excited about getting the OA Book Club up and running so she is leading the charge! In fact, look for her announcement this Friday of the first book. And be sure to share your recommendations for books to add to the list!

I am such a book freak...this is going to be SO much fun!

This is a great idea. I am a little late commenting so maybe this is already up and running. I am new to the site so haven't discovered it as yet. I am always interested in educating myself with books that speak to my career. I love reading and my library can never be full enough.
