Re: Welcome
Thank you for the opportunity to join your construction group. Although I am in California, and there are somethings that differ, construction is construction, and I love it! Look forward to many great forums.

Re: Welcome
Welcome. it's nice to see others in the Construction industry on here. I'm not totally sure how to start, but I guess the only way to learn is by trial and error...lol. I am well aware that constuction techniques vary thought out the US. Perhaps we can all share thought and ideas and see what works and what doesn't work during these tough times. let's start by stating what kind of activity is going on in our areas. As for me, as a one man show, I manage to stay busy in both design and construction management, dealing primarily in commercial construction. At this point, I am glad that I don't hang my hat solely in the residential markets, as it is pretty tough sledding in the res. market in this area (WI) right. now. So with that said, what is the construction climate in your areas, and what are your thoughts for the industry in your location this year?

I welcome any comments from all.
