Re: Most Memorable Achievement: Reflect, Share, and Win!
My most memorable achievement this year will be receiving my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. It has taken me 16 years to receive this degree, and now 2 kids, a few jobs, a couple certificates, one associates degree, and a lot of hard work later I will be graduating in June. When I received my cap and gown, I shed a tear because of the joy I feel, this is more than a milestone- for me, this is indeed a major accomplishment.

I try to encourage others that it doesn't matter how long it takes, only that the goal is reached. In reflecting back on my journey to receiving this degree, I have attended several colleges and universities throughout the years and the one thing I will always cherish is that I have acquired knowledge that cannot be taken away! Reaching the destination is the reward but the journey is what makes the reward that much sweeter!

My most memorable achievement is also personal development based. At the beginning of the year I made a promise to myself to apply, study and take the CPS exam in May. Even though my workload prior to May was very hectic, it did it.

Not only did I find the testing experience a positive one, it was all for ME. As a result, my studying has continued after the exam date and I am preparing for the CAP in May 2010. I have found the OfficeArrow website to be very valuable in preparation.

Pass or fail, I did it for me.

Funny you ask. On my blog back in February I posted this. It's June and I'm going stronger than ever in my goals. So you ask what I've come up with so far for 2009?

1. Looking forward to continuing to subcontract administrative tasks to other VAs
2. Software is what I love to research, learn and implement. In March I plan to launch another part of my business to offer something to online businesses. Press release will be coming.
3. Created a name to compliment my new avenue of business is "Software Savvy Sub"
