The office projector that we use for presentations, demos, etc. has seen it's last Powerpoint. Last week, it suddenly became very hot and started sparking in mid-use. So, we're in the market for a new projector. Two questions:

1 - Can anyone recommend a good projector?
2 - What advice would you give to someone looking to buy a projector?

Hi-We use Sharp projectors for all our small scale meeting rooms. About 3,000 lumens does good in a smaller meeting room-we are professional a/v providers.
In terms of advice: make sure you know about how many hours you use it, do you want a projector that is small enough to maybe take off site? know how big your conference room is and where the projector is usually placed (cart, conf table, mounted).
