Just one word of warning about Talk Radio or music. Please do not use internet radio (radio stations listened to over the internet). It uses a huge amount of network bandwidth, and you'll make your network administrator cry.

Many companies are instituting policies about the non-use of internet radio or viewing video over the internet since it has such a huge impact on network functionality.

Generally, if I'm in an office by myself, I carry my music on a USB drive and plug it into my computer to listen. Large capacity USB drives are very cheap now and a good alternative if you don't have an MP3 player.
