I think it is really interesting how something relatively as simple as colors can mean so many different things.

Another aspect of color that the article didn't mention is tone/shade. A deep, forest green creates a very different atmosphere than a light, mint green. I've noticed that light pastels are big in print and online promotional materials (including the new IAAP website). It seems to make things feel lighter, fresher and more modern.
