Portable Label Printer
Hi all,

I am looking to buy a good portable labeler for mainly labeling dividers in binders, files etc with different font sizes.

Are you aware of any good one that i should consider purchasing?

Found this Dymo 'LabelPoint 250', any reviews on this?

Thanks.

I haven't used this product in particular but I can tell you that Dymo is a really good brand. I've used other Dymo printers and they're very solid. Robin, our Office Manager has one. I'll ask for her opinion...

For those applications, I recommend the P-touch by Brother. They have several different models depending on your needs. You can review them at Brother International - At your side for all your Fax, Printer, MFC, Ptouch, Label printer, Sewing - Embroidery needs..

I'd agree with Robin and go with the P-Touch by Brother. I've used them for years. This one in particular has been a favorite.

When I'm looking for reviews on products, I usually either go to Amazon.com or newegg.com. Both feature user reviews. I usually prefer newegg if they have the product, because I find their rating system and their product specs to be more comprehensive. But if it's a product they don't carry, I usually go to Amazon.

I have a P-Touch as well, and I love it! They're useful (of course), but most importantly, they're compact.

Re: Portable Label Printer
I have the Brother P-Touch PT-80 at home, and the Dymo LetraTag at work. Both are good label printers and very user-friendly. The PT-80 is more basic, but it has a QWERTY keypad (which I prefer!) The Dymo one has an alpha keypad.
