Need some info
As you may be aware , south african females were given the BEE status with opportunities for women such as myself to start up new companies.
I have been in business for 8 month and business is going well. The thing is I have a few clients and I supply everything they need from Office furniture to stationery to cleaning materials etc. My clients have been loyal and supportive. But in moving forward some of the things that I have been exposed to are for instance- A client gets approached by a bigger company and they might have to quote on furniture for a call centre. They obviously then use the software that they have to create floors plans with options. Now clients will obviously move with new technology and professinalism etc and I am afraid that if I do not move on with the times ... then hey we know what happens then. What do you guys think.. should I buy software and present them this plan /layout etc and if yes..where do I start? Is it expnsive.. any suggestions???

Congrats on the success of your company! Sounds like things are going well and the decisions you are facing are growing pains, which is a great position to be in.

I would recommend you take a look at your business model and see if the software is something you need to meet your goals. Keep in mind your competitors may have expensive software, but may have poor customer service. It sounds like one of your strengths is your customer service and really listening to the clients needs.

Another option is to reach out to your current clients and ask them if this software would assist them in making purchase decisions. If so, that may be an indicator that it could make your sales process easier.

Just some things to consider.
