add travel itineraries to Outlook calendars?
Does anyone know of any other ways to add travel itineraries from online travel sites (Southwest, Northwest, etc) to your Outlook calendar automatically. I've tried TripIt, ViewTrip & VirtuallyThere and they all have their pros & cons.
I have to set up travel for multiple people and so I'm looking for easier options to make their travel and add to their Outlook calendars. If there is such a thing?!!!! Any tips, shortcuts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks for your time. |

Re: add travel itineraries to Outlook calendars?
When enterning it manually, do you enter them as local times eg flight departure and arrivals or do you convert the times for the purpose of diary entry? Plus, do you block the whole time or just enter the departure time and arrival time?
Thanks a bunch - this is a headache for me! |

Re: add travel itineraries to Outlook calendars?
I've always put them in manually as well. I've found that most third-party services just don't get in all the information I need, or don't get it in the way I want it.
To answer banners27, I've always used the Time Zones in Outlook. It converts the times for you. My last boss was very good at resetting the time-zone on his blackberry whenever he was traveling, so the travel times would be accurate for both of us. I've also always blocked out the entire flight time - if you don't, it's SO easy to make a mistake and set a phone call for mid-flight. |
