I have had several people recommend airport lounges to me recently since I'm traveling so much. I was actually very excited at first but then I realized that they have specific hours during which they are open. They aren't open 24 hours a day.

You see, my problem is this: if I take public transport to the airport and my flight home is delayed, I run the risk of landing in the "dead zone" between midnight and 5 am when no buses run. I was hoping that I could join the airport lounge and have a safe place to rest should this ever happen. Unfortunately, most lounges close by 11 pm. I think they'd be a much better idea if they were open 24 hours.
