write down bullet for bullet everything you accomplished on the trip no matter how unimportant you deem it to be; for instance, potential future business you originated simply by exchanging cards with somebody. send a brief with bullets by email to your boss. read through your notes a few times prior to your meeting; even memorize some of the key things you did; you'll feel a lot more poised and will be more professional when you communicate the details of your trip to your boss and the rest of your colleagues.
