Re: Business Travel Friendly Hotels
Working at a hotel, I have to add on - check with the Front Desk or Sales team to see what their main client base is. A resort will be less understanding and / or accommodating of business travelers than a hotel whose guests are mainly business travelers since resort guests are mainly people on leisure trips.
A hotel with a good percentage of business travelers will be well-versed on their needs and will know what their guests need and expect for comfort and luxury. These hotels will often cater specifically to their main kinds of travelers and will have all sorts of incredibly accommodating services and amenities at their property. Just ask - they will often be more than happy to dish out what they provide and you and your boss will breathe a sigh of comfort and relief once you get there. |

Re: Business Travel Friendly Hotels
As a heavy traveler, let me add that if possible, try and use the same brands frequently so that you can move up in status. If you stay a number of nights, you can qualify for gold/premium, etc. status, and get better rooms, upgrades, free breakfast, and more. It adds up and can make a big difference.
