Can someone recommend a free project management tool or template that can be easily used to track projects? What is the best alternative to Microsoft Project? Thanks.

I used a great product called Kickstart. I would get so frustrated with Microsoft Project because it didn't meet my needs. I needed a program that was easy to navigate, provided clear documentation of timelines and tasks and allowed me to customize it to each project. Kickstart was just what I needed and I used it extensively while I was an EA. Although it's not free, it's very reasonably priced. I highly recommend it. You can download a free trial to test it out. Ilona, it all depends on what your needs are. I would recommend to take a look at our project management software Online Project Management Software Free and Tools: Project Management, Team Collaboration, Effective Communication, Time Tracking - COMINDWORK. It's free (all features, but limited to one active project).
