Event Planning Dilemma
I am an EA for a Food Service Distributor and have been tasked with putting on two major food shows in the fall, six weeks apart, and my boss has asked me to look for corporate sponsorship. My first question is what is the best way to go about this?

I would also appreciate any suggestions of ways to make these events the WOW factor.

Thank you all for your help

Re: Event Planning Dilemma
For soliciting sponsors, your first task should be to identify the populations that generally attend the food show, and then look at what companies advertise to those populations. Put together a nice press packet with brochures, add a nice cover letter and a price list for sponsorships and send it out to your prospective solicitors. Follow up those letters about a week later to make your sales pitch.
