I posted this book in the question about condescending people and wanted to repeat the name of the book here. It is written by Bob Wall and is called "Working Relationships: The Simple Truth About Getting Along with Friends and Foes at Work".

Recently I personally had a bit of a breakthrough in this area. The change didn't come from the other person however, but it had to come from me and the way I reacted. What I learned was to:
Not react
Step back
Calm down
Think clearly;
and then take action
It has made working with this person much, much better.
