I got 3 out of 6 as well... I always put my sticker over my left side above my heart... maybe that's because I'm left handed... and don't get me started on the whole "salting your food before you taste it thing"!

Re: What's Your Business Etiquette IQ?
Salting food before tasting ----My ex-husband always told a story about a luncheon interview his father was part of back in the late sixties with a major auto company. When the food arrived, the candidate salted his food before tasting and immediately was disqualified for the job. The decision maker said later that if this candidate made a decision to salt before tasting, he couldn’t be trusted to make the serious decisions needed to run the business.
I agree. |

Re: What's Your Business Etiquette IQ?
The salting before tasting rule really surprised me. Lucky for me, I've never been much of a salt fan
![]() My favorite etiquette tip I learned in college was to always offer to pay when you invite a potential employer out for lunch. Of course, the potential employer usually ends up paying, but you don't want to forget to offer first! Does any one else have any favorite etiquette tips? I understand the salt thing and agree it is improper to salt without tasting first, but wouldn't it also be improper to remove food from your mouth with your fingers? I would think that is more impolite and improper than using salt without tasting. I got 3 out of 6 too.
