Generational
Hello everyone. I am very happy to join this group. It strikes all the cords in me that matter. That said, I look forward to having some great conversations here. I deal with training in the manufacturing area ( High Skill Sets and Electrical Engineering ) I am a proud Boomer dealing with X and Y generation as they enter the workforce. With about 35 years of being the trainer on many topics I pride myself on being a trainee for as many years I have learned that SMART is a good tool to use when your dealing with things that are easily measured. As I gain in wisdom and age I find I blend in a lot of soft skill training I.E. ATTITUDE, COMMUNICATION, RELATIONSHIP BUILDING, in with the hard skills. Comments?

Re: Generational
I agree and strongly believe that continuing education is key in order to adapt to the workplace of the future.
