Viewing Multiple Calendars in Outlook
Working in almost any office you'll need to create appointments for (or with) your co-workers and superiors. When scheduling through Outlook, it certainly helps to view everyone else's calendars. Discover how to make the process easier by viewing multiple calendars at once and even creating separate calendars for the projects you manage.

Re: Viewing Multiple Calendars in Outlook
I think it is a great idea having the calendars overlay one on top of the other, but can't seem to make it work. Sadly, I don't have or see the arrows. Is this for Microsoft Office Outlook or Outlook Express?

What version of Outlook will support the overlay feature? I have 2003 which doesn't have any arrows in the Calendar name.

Re: Viewing Multiple Calendars in Outlook
Hello Lkaiser and Annemarieh, thanks for posting on my article. I love comments (and the people who make them). I did some research for you guys to find out, and according to the folks over at Microsoft the closest that you will come with Outlook 2003 is to create a custom view, which Microsoft has provided directions on how to do here (http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ou...073171033.aspx) just scroll down and you will see it. You can however view shared calendars side by side in Outlook 2003 if you do this.

1. Click on the 'Calendar' button on the navigation pane. The one on the lower left side of the screen.

2. Open each shared calendar individually. You can do this with up to 4 calendars, just be aware that the more you open at once the lower your resolution will be.

Now the calendars should open side by side for your viewing pleasure.

If you need more help with this, or anything Office related, feel free to send me a message and I will get you the information you need.

Have a great one!

Re: Viewing Multiple Calendars in Outlook
I seem to remeber in an earlier version of Outlook being able to view my calendar and my email on the same page. I have Outlook 2003 and use Word as my email editor. Is it possible to view email adn calednar at the same time?
