MS Office 2007: Turning Back the Hands of Time

So, you've finally been upgraded to Office 2007 and those new menus are driving you nuts! Good news: you're not alone. If you're looking to go back in time and view your menus in the old 2003 format, you actually can. And you don't have to discover time travel to do it.

I actually took the time to get to know the new interface in Office 2007 and like it sooooo much better than the old!! Much easier to use and more convenient locations for commands.

As tempting as it might be to go back to the classic menus of Office 2003, the Ribbon is here to stay. Expect to see Office 2010 released sometime in the first half of, you guessed it, 2010. Although the interface will be updated in some areas, the menus will not be restored. In the long run, the sooner you make friends with the Microsoft Office Ribbon, the easier your work will be in the long run.
