Outlook 2003 to 2007 - Help!
In Outlook 2003, I could link contacts to calendar appointments so that the appointment would show up as a journal entry linked to that contact (when I looked at an individual contact's activities). I loved this feature because I could keep track of my correspondence with contacts without setting up a meeting and inviting the contact, as it was only for my own personal record. Does anyone know how to do this in Outlook 2007?

Hi!

In Outlook 2007, if you go to the 'Insert' tab on your New Event window (right next to 'Meeting'), you'll find 'Attach Item'. Clicking on this brings up a window that lets you attach an email, a contact, a note, a journal entry, a task, or another calendar event to your meeting.

Alternatively, from the Journal Entry window, you can again go to 'Insert' and insert the meeting into your journal entry.

Hopefully this helps!
